About Me
Hello there, my name is Tim Stempel (he/him) and I am a certified coach and licensed therapist in the field of mental fitness and human potential. My professional work focuses on helping people build meaningful, fulfilling lives within three different spheres of focus (The 3Ps! - Personal, Professional and Parental).

Professionally, I am a licensed clinical social worker and certified life and engagement coach, as well as a business professional and entrepreneur. I have worked in various settings throughout my career including healthcare clinics, hospitals, non-profit organizations, wilderness adventure programs, higher education, and corporate consulting engagements. I have also founded several small businesses and charity events. My professional interests include helping individuals and teams align their behaviors with their values to derive the greatest degree of fulfillment, satisfaction and performance possible. Several topic areas I am deeply interested in include emotional intelligence, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, non-violent communication, and human-centric organizational design.

Personally, I enjoy trail running, riding bicycles, playing soccer, camping and backpacking, mountain climbing, telemark skiing, surfing and kettlebell training. My body is a vehicle through which I experience the world and I am extremely grateful for everything it is able to do. I also enjoy cooking, many styles of music and live shows, and DIY house projects.
Parentally, I have two daughters that I parent with my amazing wife. Parenting is a special challenge that reflects so many of our behaviors (the good and the bad) back to us. This includes both interactions between parent and child, as well as between adults parenting together. Being such, it's an amazing catalyst for self-work and personal growth.
